Our hope for your child is that not only will they learn piano technique and musicianship skills, but they will challenge themselves, gain confidence and be proud of their accomplishments. We want your child to experience the joy of playing (piano) and making music with their peers; to awaken more and more of their potential while developing self discipline, problem-solving skills, and perseverance.
Your student’s piano study will include Private Lessons, Group Lessons, and Performance Parties. In private lessons, your student will learn method, theory and technique. Lessons are tailored to meet the needs and pacing of each student. Consistent and Quality practice are necessary for progress and for students to be proud of their hard work!
During group lessons, your student will “play” with other piano students! Your student will enjoy Rote and Ensemble Playing, Improv, Composing, Rhythm & Listening activities…. Students Love Group Lessons! (~5x/year) We will also get together for Performance Parties where students practice performing. We’ll highlight relaxation strategies, performance techniques, and recital etiquette. (~4x/yr.)
